Belek Golf Hotel Review

Regnum The Crown: Belek’s New Luxury Golf Hotel

An all-suite Mediterranean resort, two prestigious golf clubs under the Regnum umbrella and one of Belek’s most ambitious luxury concepts. We look at what Regnum The Crown offers golfers — and where it differs from a conventional golf hotel.

Belek has no shortage of high-end golf resorts, but Regnum The Crown enters the market with a noticeably different proposition. Opened in July 2025, it is an all-suite, beachfront resort built around space, contemporary design and a broad Luxury All Inclusive concept — with access to both Carya Golf Club and National Golf Club.

The result is not simply a new hotel beside a golf course. Regnum The Crown is better understood as a large luxury resort that happens to have serious golf credentials. That distinction matters. Golfers receive access to an established two-course operation and complimentary course shuttles, while non-golfing partners and families have enough dining, spa, pool and entertainment options to make the hotel work as a complete Mediterranean holiday.

Detabi Golf’s early verdict A genuine luxury resort for golfers who do not want their entire holiday to feel like a golf camp.

Regnum The Crown is particularly attractive for couples, mixed golfer/non-golfer parties, premium groups and families seeking substantial room space. Golf remains a major part of the experience, but the hotel itself is designed to be equally important.

What Kind of Golf Hotel Is Regnum The Crown?

Regnum The Crown should not be confused with a traditional golf hotel where guests step directly from their room onto the first tee. The hotel sits on Belek’s Mediterranean coastline, while its golf offer is built around the wider Regnum portfolio.

Guests can play at Carya Golf Club and National Golf Club, with scheduled shuttle services connecting the hotel and courses. This gives golfers access to two contrasting venues without requiring every part of the holiday to take place inside a golf-course environment.

Important booking distinction

Staying at Regnum The Crown does not automatically mean that green fees are included. Golf should be booked as a defined programme — for example seven nights with three, four or five named rounds. Buggies, equipment hire, floodlighting and private lessons may also be separate unless they are clearly listed.

The Golf: Carya and National

The strongest reason to consider Regnum The Crown for a golf holiday is the combination of two established Regnum courses. Carya and National offer different playing experiences, which makes them more useful as a package pair than two courses with very similar characteristics.

Regnum Signature Course

Carya Golf Club

Carya is the more theatrical of the two courses. Designed by Peter Thomson and his team, it is known for its heathland-inspired character, mature planting and fully floodlit 18-hole layout.

  • 18-hole championship course
  • Fully floodlit for night golf
  • Modern clubhouse and Pro Shop
  • PGA coaching and performance facilities
  • Regular host of international tournaments
Belek’s Historic First

National Golf Club

National is one of the foundation stones of Belek golf. Established in 1994, it has a more traditional club atmosphere and a strategic layout that rewards controlled positioning rather than indiscriminate length.

  • 18-hole championship layout
  • Designed by David Feherty and David Jones
  • Illuminated closing holes
  • Established tournament pedigree
  • Host venue for the 2026 Turkish Airlines Open

For many golfers, Carya will be the headline round. Night golf is still an unusual experience in European golf travel, and it can be useful for groups who want to combine a late tee time with a more relaxed morning. National provides the contrast: less resort theatre, more of a traditional golf-club feeling and a course that asks different questions from the tee.

The real strength is not that Regnum The Crown has access to a golf course. It is that golfers can build a varied programme around two different clubs without changing hotel.

What Is Included in the Golf Experience?

Regnum The Crown’s published hotel concept includes complimentary shuttle services to Carya Golf Club and National Golf Club. The golf itself, however, is treated as a separate product. This is normal in Belek and should not be interpreted as a weakness.

Service How it normally works
Green fees Included only when named in the golf package or booking confirmation. The hotel’s Luxury All Inclusive concept alone does not include rounds.
Course transfers Complimentary scheduled shuttles operate to Carya and National. Private vehicles may be available at an additional charge.
Buggy Must be checked course by course. Inclusion can vary by package, season and playing conditions.
Night golf Available at Carya, but floodlighting charges and operational hours should be confirmed at the time of booking.
Club hire Normally charged separately and best reserved in advance, particularly for left-handed and premium sets.
Lessons and fitting PGA coaching, TrackMan analysis and custom-fitting facilities are available through the Carya golf operation, normally at extra cost.
Clubhouse food and drink Some items may be available within the wider Regnum concept, but golfers should not assume every clubhouse item is included. The specific package and current hotel concept must be checked.

The All-Suite Accommodation Concept

Space is one of Regnum The Crown’s clearest advantages. The main building is entirely suite-based, with 299 suites ranging from 110 m² to an exceptional 1,700 m². A further 59 suites and villas are located in the Amber Lagoon area.

For golfers, large rooms are more than a luxury detail. They make it easier to manage golf luggage, allow couples to follow different daily schedules and give groups a more comfortable setting for longer stays. The entry-level Seascape Suite is already substantially larger than a standard room at most Belek golf hotels.

Seascape Suite

110 m² with a sea view, one bedroom and a separate step-down living area. This is likely to be the principal choice for couples and two golfers sharing.

Family Suite

125 m² with two bedrooms and a land view. A practical option for families or golfers who require genuine bedroom separation.

Grand Family Suite

185 m² with two bedrooms and a separate living room. Better suited to larger families or friends who value shared social space.

Panoramic Suite

215 m² with a sea view, one bedroom and a substantial living room. This moves the stay towards a more private, residential experience.

Horizon Suite

200 m² with two bedrooms, a living room and sea views. Particularly useful for premium four-person parties who do not want separate rooms.

Amber Lagoon

Suites and two-bedroom villas arranged around shared lagoon pools and landscaped gardens. These offer a quieter, lower-rise alternative to the main building.

Suite features include balconies or terraces, separate baths and showers, walk-in wardrobes, premium minibars, Nespresso machines and daily turn-down service. These details support the hotel’s luxury positioning, although the practical advantage remains the generous amount of space.

Dining and the Luxury All Inclusive Concept

Regnum The Crown is not built around a simple buffet-plus-two-restaurants model. The published concept lists a broad range of international restaurants, casual dining outlets, bakeries, bars and adults-only venues. Cuisines include Pan-Asian, Greek, Spanish, Mexican, Peruvian, Arabic, Slavic, French, Italian and Turkish options.

For golfers, this variety is useful during a seven-night stay. Groups do not need to repeat the same dining routine after every round, while couples can choose between informal post-golf food and more structured evening dining.

Nevertheless, “Luxury All Inclusive” should not be interpreted as every bottle, every restaurant and every private service being free of charge. Premium wine lists, selected spirits, in-room dining, cigar products, cabanas and certain personalised services may carry an additional cost. Restaurant reservation rules may also vary by season.

Full Access to Regnum Carya

One of the hotel’s most unusual advantages is access to facilities at Regnum Carya. The published concept includes access to selected beaches, pools, entertainment areas, restaurants and bars at the sister resort.

This effectively broadens the holiday beyond a single hotel. It can be especially valuable for longer stays, repeat Regnum guests and families who want additional dining or entertainment options.

There is also an important practical point: access does not mean that every service at Regnum Carya is automatically complimentary. Some restaurants, premium items and private services may still be subject to reservation rules or additional charges.

Beach, Pools and Adults-Only Rooftop

Regnum The Crown has a 450-metre private sandy beach and a substantial range of indoor and outdoor pools. The pool programme includes a large main pool, seawater-style pool, wave pool, children’s pools and an indoor wellbeing pool.

The adults-only rooftop is one of the hotel’s defining features. It combines an infinity pool, restaurant, bars, fitness space and panoramic Mediterranean views. For golfing couples, this creates a clear post-round retreat away from the more active family areas of the resort.

Golf groups should note that cabanas and certain premium rooftop experiences require reservations and may carry an additional charge. Beach facilities also operate seasonally, with the full summer beach setup normally available from May through October.

Spa and Recovery After Golf

Regnum The Crown operates two wellness areas: the main Revive Wellbeing & Spa and the Amber Lagoon Spa. Together, they provide a substantial recovery environment for golfers, including hammams, steam rooms, saunas, indoor pools, jacuzzis and relaxation areas.

Basic wet-area access may be included within the hotel concept, while massages, private hammam rituals, cryotherapy, specialist treatments and other therapies are generally charged separately.

From a golf perspective, this is one of the hotel’s strongest non-playing assets. A proper recovery area matters on four- or five-round programmes, particularly for mixed-age groups and guests playing on consecutive days.

Is Regnum The Crown Good for Non-Golfers?

Yes — and this is arguably where the hotel makes its strongest case against more golf-dominated resorts.

Non-golfers have access to the beach, pools, spa, rooftop, fitness facilities, entertainment programme and a wide dining selection. The hotel also includes extensive children’s and teenage facilities, plus access to the large Aqualantis Waterpark and selected Regnum Carya facilities.

This makes Regnum The Crown suitable for holidays where one person plays golf and the other does not, or where only part of a family group intends to play.

Regnum The Crown Is Best For

  • Luxury-focused golf couples
  • Mixed golfer and non-golfer holidays
  • Premium golf groups wanting large suites
  • Families combining golf and resort facilities
  • Guests who value dining and spa as much as golf
  • Players wanting both Carya and National in one programme
  • Longer stays where hotel variety matters

Think Carefully If You Prefer

  • A small and quiet traditional golf hotel
  • Direct walking access from room to first tee
  • A holiday focused almost entirely on golf
  • A simple package with very few dining decisions
  • A lower-priced Belek golf product
  • An adults-only hotel throughout the entire resort
  • A compact property with minimal walking

The Honest View: What Should Golfers Consider?

It Is a Luxury Resort First

Regnum The Crown’s size, facilities and international dining programme will appeal to many guests, but golfers who prefer a quiet clubhouse culture may find the overall resort experience more elaborate than necessary.

The hotel is also new. Service routines, restaurant operations and seasonal concepts can continue evolving during a resort’s early years. Golf travellers should therefore book according to the current published concept rather than relying on an older opening brochure.

Finally, the phrase “golf hotel” should not lead guests to assume that golf is bundled into every room rate. A proper golf package must identify the courses, dates, tee times, transfers and included extras.

A Suggested Seven-Night Golf Programme

Regnum The Crown works particularly well for a balanced four-round week. This gives golfers time to experience both Regnum courses while still making use of the hotel they are paying for.

Arrival in Antalya Private or shared transfer to Belek, check-in and a relaxed evening at the hotel.
First round at National Golf Club A measured opening round on Belek’s historic first course.
Free day Spa, rooftop, beach or time at Regnum Carya. This also gives the group a break before consecutive golf days.
Day round at Carya Golf Club The first opportunity to experience Carya in full daylight.
Second round at National A return visit allows golfers to play the course with better local knowledge.
Night golf at Carya A distinctive final round under floodlights, subject to the course schedule and package conditions.
Final resort day Aqualantis, spa, beach, rooftop or an optional extra round.
Departure Transfer to Antalya Airport.

More golf-focused groups may prefer five rounds, while couples and families may find three rounds sufficient. The correct number depends on whether the hotel is simply a base or an important part of the holiday.

Regnum The Crown or Regnum Carya?

These hotels should not be treated as interchangeable versions of the same product.

Regnum Carya has the deeper golf identity. It is the established resort, closely associated with Carya Golf Club and familiar to repeat Belek golfers.

Regnum The Crown is newer, more suite-led and more deliberately positioned as an expansive luxury lifestyle resort. It is likely to suit guests who place greater value on room size, contemporary design, rooftop facilities and a broader new-generation resort concept.

Golf purists may still prefer Regnum Carya. Luxury couples, families and mixed parties may find Regnum The Crown the more complete holiday.
